BOLA PRA FRENTE PELADA - Confirmed details

The event is confirmed for Sunday 4th April at the Bola pra Frente project in Guadalupe - 10.30pm kick-off.

1994 World Cup stars Bebeto and Jorginho will be coming to the event - a re-working of the carioca championship with the only important difference that Botafogo make it to the last four rather than Americano.

Apart from kicking the ball around with varying degrees of success people will get a chance to take a look at the Bola pra Frente project.

BOLA PRA FRENTE PELADA - Sunday 4th April

Britafogo replay the Carioca championship at Bola pra Frente.

On the morning of Sunday 4th April Britafogo is organising a visit to the Bola pra Frente project in Guadelupe. Aside from having a pelada (kickaround match) under the expert gaze of World Cup winner Jorginho (1994) it will give all those who make the trip a first hand look at one of the best football-related social projects in Brazil. The date is confirmed and we will have more details on the site by Friday 19th March.

All money raised from the visit after paying for transport will go directly to Bola pra Frente. Non-members also very welcome.

Please note that the final of the Taça Rio will be played that afternoon in the Maracanã but you will have time to do both if you like football that much.
